Breaking the news

I am 19 years old and 4 weeks preganant. I'm due April 20th of next year. I am terrified of telling my parents because they always seem to get mad at my decisions. Although I'm in college and ahead of where I need to be, I work a full time and a part time job and I am responsible and make pretty good decisions. Is anyone else young and scared to tell their parents? When should I ? How should I ?

I'm nineteen and pregnant with my first. My mom was mote open than my dad when I found out, but my dad came around and is excited. I am also moving from Washington to Illinois to be with my baby's dad. Just be honest and let them know how you feel. If they push you towards anything, make sure your voice is heard and you tell them what you are thinking about doing. It is your body and YOUR baby. Not theirs.

I'm also 19, this is my first and I'm now 15 weeks 3 days,  my parents were livid when I told them, I just explained that I'm old enough to make my own decisions as I'm an adult (I also left home at 16) trust me they will come round, my mam did only when she saw the scan picture, however she still gets a bit funny about it from time to time, you're gonna be a mumma girl! Be proud and congrats x
