exercise..

Did anyone start exercising later on in there pregnancy, up until 16 weeks I had really bad morning sickness all day and all night. So the last thing on my mind was walking ect.. I am now 18 weeks and feeling better. So do you think I will be okay to start exercising without consulting my doctor?

Yeah I did. Swimming is great walks things like that moderate exercise if your not used to it before. But my doctor recommended a 30 minute walk if you could it makes the end of your pregnancy a lot easier and labor too

Yes of course. I do squats and walk up hill. And you can always lift small weights like 5-10 lbs

Okay thankyou :) I just feel so unfit and gross now. Is it still possible to tone up other areas while pregnant? Obviously not belly but like legs and butt.

I started at 19 weeks. I started walking and using my birthing ball. I walk 30-40 minutes everyday

I started walking more in my third trimester..my doctor actually wanted me to continue to exercise during pregnancy because I was over weight..but a little walking or something won't hurt..but now that I'm 6 days away from my due date I've stopped because I'm having quite a bit of back pain lol
