If the tech cannot find a heartbeat at ~6 weeks, am i still pregnant?
6 weeks IS early enough to detect a heartbeat, but perhaps you are not as far along as you think? There are instances that techs simply can't find them yet, for whatever reasons. They should definitely be able to see a heartbeat by 8 weeks. Best wishes, ladies :)
hi im 6 weeks pregnant today. i went for my first dating scan yesterday but she messured the fetus to being only 5 weeks and 6 days and could not find a heart beat. im worried sick that this means it died then as a heart beat can not be detected.
6 weeks can be too early to detect a HB so is nothing to worry about at this stage. Have you had any bleeding/cramping? How are your HCG levels looking?
