fetal monitoring

I'm 30weeks high risk and they just now tell me I have to come back twice a week for fetal monitoring! Shouldn't I have been told about this at the beginning of my pregnancy?? Ugh it's annoying tbh. I don't like news like this at basically the last minute. Now I have to rearrange my schedule again around this crap.

Yeah I'm perfectly ok with it but I would've liked to know sooner

That's what they did with my sister and they started having her come in twice a week at 32 weeks and they didn't say anything before hand because her pregnancy was going so well so far even though she was high risk but there was one appointment and something wasn't quite right! Nothing was necessarily wrong but they wanted to take extra precautions just in case

Yeah I'm a type 1 diabetic which automatically made me high risk. Just kind of angers me because if they had told me originally I could have already planned this out better but Owell I guess. I like my doc and everything but it was just a little last minute
