I had a fever early on maybe being about 4months or so pregnant, and it was on for two days before I headed to the hospital then it lasted almost a week altogether. It was because I had a bladder and kidney infection that I had no idea I even had, they said it starts from a urinary tract infection which pregnant woman easily get. So I wouldn't take any fever lightly.
99 is technically a fever, but not really. If it gets above 101 that's when you need to worry. Most pregnant women's body temp increases a degree or two their whole pregnancy. As long as she feels fine she will be ok. Lots of fluids and resting after traveling is a good idea as well.
Alot of women temperature increases during first trimester its basically one of the pregnancy sign... However if its accompanied by any infection thn u should consult doctor... As thy will be able to give any approrciate medication or advice needed at this stage... U hve to look into other factors such as has she got flu, problem during urination etc thn definately hospital should be ur mext stop... If she has no other problems thn shes just tired from all the journey and she needs more rest... Good luck n keep us posted....
most pregnant women have a low.grade fever like that most of the time for some reason. and the jerking if shes 8 months wont matter. as long as its not insane jerking! goodluck!
