I'm going in for my first appointment today, any tips to prepare me or what I should expect.

They might do a pap if you haven't had one recently.

Wow its that simple? I thought they did like a full check up. Asking a bunch of questions and checking everything. My first doc appt is monday.

Don't forget the blood work.  They'll draw some blood to make sure u dont have any health issues

Also depending on how far along you are they may do minimal vaginal exam to check your uterus

They will test your urine for positive pregnancy. They'll ask you when was your last first day of your menstrual period. Then they'll schedule you an ultrasound to confirm how far along you are. Prescribe you prenatals.
