I think it's ridiculous and same im from UK and I have never heard of a baby with nail polish or Luo gloss...like really? Surely your little daughter is cute enough with having to colour her nails at such a young age. Toddlers yes cuz they do enjoy it but when they are weeks, months old and haven't developed speak yet its obvious your doing it for your own joy.
I am with the UK mums on here not ever have I seen a baby with nail polish on (also from UK) I never painted my daughters nails till she was 2 and that was because she seen me putting it on and wanted her toes like mummy I would never ever put it on a baby a toddler yes not a baby
Its funny that nail polish is being made out to be such a big deal..seriously????
July2baby I don't think its nail polish that the big deal is about its the age of the babies that are getting nail polish put on them.
I'm black & I would never put nail polish, weave or anything artificial that she wasn't born with on my daughter. I don't even wear make up or weave or any of that stuff cause I love myself the way God made me & I would want my daughter to know that she doesn't need any of that stuff because she is already as beautiful as can be.... And btw, nothing is done "Just For Fun" everyone has a purpose for doing things. We all expect to get a certain feeling out of whatever we do. IJS
And no I'm not trying to get all religious about this. It's all a matter of habit & self esteem. I see this as a matter of when she grows older she will see wearing nail polish as a necessity & will not feel at ease with herself since her mother trained her to wear it. Train a child the way he/she must go & he/she will not depart from it. IJS
