All the companies make formulas for supplementing moms. Enfamil, Similac, and Gerber Goodstart. I plan on using the Gerber Goodstart for supplementing with my child, from my experience a lot of babies tolerate the Gerber products really well...
The sensitive formulas are all designed for certain things. Similac makes two different ones, a sensitive AR which is for spit up, and a regular sensitive for fussiness and gas.
If you do decide to add formula keep in mind it can take baby a few days to adjust. Usually its recommended to stay on a formula for at least 7 days (before switching) to see how baby does because it can take them that long to adjust to something new.
Pump, And Do Half And Half So It's Not So Hard On Babys Belly They Will Still Get Kimmy Milk, But Have Enough Supplement To Hold Them Over For A Little While. :)
Similac sensitive is not soy. Similac isomil is.
The similac supplement is good choice but it didn't keep my daughter full. Try the sensitive similac Orange can.
My baby has a sensitive tummy so I understand. Please for me take it from a mom who really experience the upset stomachs my baby said forget milk! lol like she gave up trying to eat. Poor thing. So please try similac sensitive its a soy milk and trust me I think r baby will love it a finish it to the last drop. And of course you will be pleased with it.
My daughter is on enfamil prosobee. It's easy on the stomach. She has acid reflux and is allergic to milk.
They gave me isomil at the hospital fir supplementing. Its the soy similac. Bc my son kept spitting uo the advance similac that they gave him originally bc he wasn't latching on bc of his gestation al age (35w at the time). But now that were at home WIC has him on gerber good start soy which he does better on than the isomil, but he's starting to latch better so might be able to completely boobfeed him soon
My daughter couldnt handel breast milk she would always spit it back up, so i tried similac with the blue lid and it worked perfect for her. I believe similac makes a suplementing formula i think its a seafoam color if im not mistaken.
