funny feelings down there....

This is probably very random and sounds stupid to even me but i have to know.... for those of u that have had babies... can u feel ur foof stretching ready for birth? Every time baby moves or my stomach tightens (im assuming the tightening are braxton hicks as theres no pain) it feels like my foof is opening... stretching... it feels odd! Like air is escaping/popping feeling...

I been getting cramps there too and mucus also. Hopefully were all close to labour :-)

I'm 38 + 1. I'm having a lot of tightenings this evening. The sensation down there is so weird tho, feels like its stretching lol

How far along are you? I'm 37+3.
I wrote a post earlier along the same lines as what u wrote, and the reply I got was that its normal & its the baby down really low & once low enough dilation may be starting.
