Could this be why I keep miscarrying

I have had 2 miscarriage in the last 3 months. Both being at least 4 weeks. My hcg have never went above 50 before I start bleeding and loose the baby. I asked my ob for a progestrone test and she refused that was 2 weeks ago. My levels arent dropping like they should. 46 to 23 to 38 to 35 to 33. I finally demanded for my progestrone to be checked it came back at 1.1. Isn't that low. She said that they usually don't test unless your close to your af or pregnant well technically I am still pregnant because my levels are still at 33. Something is stopping those levels from dropping. They ruled out molar and ectopic and said I didn't need a d & c. But I would think that my levels would be much higher than 1.1

Yes progestrone can change with each pregnancy...my pregnancy in Sept of last year i had to be on progestrone pills but that pregnancy still ended in a miscarriage and this pregnancy i went in at 4wks to check my progestrone right away and my progestrone was great and so far so good with this pregnancy...im now 13wk2d

My levels went back up to 77 now. Goin in for a followup ultrasound. Praying for a miracle!

My doc is actually saying that is normal. But is it really? I still have the pregnancy hormone in me so shouldnt it be higher even if I miscarried or not. And I have had three children the last one being 5 weeks early. Never had a problem though can your progestrone change with each pregnancy as you get older. I think that the birth control I was on messed me up. I bled for almost a year before I decided to get it taken out. Then my periods were never the same.

My levels were low like that too and that is why I miscarried before. I'm going to be 9weeks tomorrow and I've been taking progesterone supplements the entire time! I would get a different Dr. She sounds like she doesn't even care about you or your situation... Goodluck and I hope next time you'll get your sticky bean!!! :)
