Hard time finding the baby's heartbeat!

Im 17 weeks and 2 days.(first pregnancy) A few days ago i went to my doc appt. It literally took my doc like 2 1/2 minutes to find my baby's heartbeat!!! It was so nerve wrecking!!!!!!! Omg!!!! I was so relieve when suddenly she said "Oh! There it is!" Anyone else felt like it took FOREVER to find the heartbeat?

At least she kept going till they found your bubbas heartbeat, my Dr couldn't find my babys at about that stage and she just said it was normal and not to worry about it. I freaked out for like a week afterwards :/ Lol

It's because your baby is so tiny. Don't worry, once he/she gets bigger it will be much easier

That's happen too me 2 weeks ago I was about 30 wks butt my doc said it's ok when that happens the baby's back is toward my back so it's harder to get it I was really scared butt this time I went to the doc it was fine your baby just moves in diff position it'll freak you out

Thats happened to me multiple times. My first loved to hide and t took a good 3 to 4 minutes for the midwife to find the heart beat. This time around I am goig to a teaching hospital doctors office place. Well the residents arent vey good at locating this ones heartbeat either until he doctor comes in and makes them look like idiots lol.
