glucose test

I have a glucose test tomorrow but my doctor didn't tell me anything about it if I could eat or not eat. So should I eat really early or not at all?

Don't eat anything that has sugar or is a natural sugar. No fruit or cereal. I ate egg on toast with sausage.

I have mine tomorrow as well, the doctor said i couldnt eat or drink anything after midnight. You got to go on an empty stomatch! *****:/ ill be sure to eat like an animal today lol

My doctor told me not to eat a hour before I come and I passed the first time

When I took mine , I was told not to eat anything or have anything besides water late midnight til after my test . And I passed . I think not eating , gives you a chance to pass.  I know some woman who ate a couple hours before there test and failed . So I rather be pass , and drink water.  Instead of eat and fail and have to take the three hour one.

I took mine last month and was told to not eat anything at all and to only have water. I ate after my test and it felt like I didn't eat for days, the food tasted that good.

I go in at one I think ill eat breakfast at eight and then not eat after

I gotta go at 2 tomorrow military base is usually packed in the morning for labs. She told me not to eat anything two hrs before I go in.

They told me I couldnt eat 2 hours before taking mine on wednesday

They usually tell you if you have to fast. Mine was non -fasting

Just to be sure call the place where the test is to be taken. When I took the test I was told not to eat after midnight and to go early in the morning to the office.

I have mine tomorrow too! They told me i can eat a hour before i test but after you take it you cant have anything in your mouth until they take your blood! Good luck i hope this helps,
