My gallbladder died on me and made me very sick before drs relized what was wrong. I had to have an emergency surgery july 5 2011 because of that and had a huge cyst about to burst on top of my appendix being effected. I'm so glad it happened before i got pregnant and couldn't imagine having to deal with it while pregnant. Ill pray for yall!

If you don't mind me asking, what do you take? They prescribed Bentyl for me. I have to take it 4 times a day, I hate it bc I do ny like taking meds while pregnant. But I hope you feel better && it goes quickly for ya!

Aww :( try cool or cold showers and baths, they'll slow down the blood flow so your liver has more time to process the bile and they'll soothe the itching a bit.

I was diagnosed with that (well, gallstones but the paper says what you put) at 10 weeks. I just saw a surgeon today about having my gallbladder taken out after I deliver, I'm only 24 weeks..it ***** bc I'm on a very strict diet, I've lost 30lbs, and I still have 16 weeks left.

It's when your gallbladder isn't working properly and there becomes a buildup of bile in the liver and bloodstream. It can happen for some women only during pregnancy.

Oh no :( have you tried dandelion root tea or milk thistle extract? They'll help your liver process the bile better. I'll be praying for you and baby.

Babies have a good chance of survival starting at 24 weeks, so even if you were to need to deliver now, your baby would be in good hands :) hopefully that will ease your mind some! Praying for you though!
