I was told the same as DelainaN but just at 24wk....my guy went yesterday and I was quite upset and bored : / Its one of my fave stress relievers. Plus its always good to know how to handle a gun, just in case, even if you never have to use one.
Plus I read on here of a lady whose husband is almost deaf because his mom worked in a loud environment while she was preggers so be pre cautious now that your in the last trimester cuz your babies ear drums are clearly capable of getting damaged :)
It's too late, I got my license to carry and went to the gun range when I was 20 weeks and the guy told me I needed a doctors note ! So I went and asked my doc and he said after 25 weeks its not safe to go to the gun range because it can damage the babies ear drums, he said the same with concerts
I went to concerts, shot guns, hunted, rode motorcycle while pregnant. The only prob with my girls hearing is that they hear too well. And they pretend they can't hear when I ask for something lol.
A 22 really isn't loud at all and its a great starter gun they don't kick at all either. My son is gonna be 4 in July and we are getting him one for his birthday not a pistol of course but a rifle.
My mother went to the gun range a lot when she was pregnant. It didn't hurt me or my brother. I've gone once since being pregnant. Might startle the baby at first. But you can always ask your Dr.
Yea that's what I was finding online was a 22 but I have never even held a gun let alone know what they are....it's kind of like me venturing into hubby's world ya know!!!! The things we can do together have dwindled down to a very sad list of eating and the movies!!! I'm dying to try new things but not willing to risk anything
If you really want to go maybe try a 22 pistol there not loud at all
I'be been to two concerts while pregnant. I'm sure the sound is muffled a lot in your uterus I really don't think your baby can go deaf from any of that. I don't see the problem with it at all.
Me personally I wouldn't go yet. I would wait til I had my baby just to be safe.
That's what I'm worried about is the sound!!!! I absolutely don't want my baby to be deaf!!!! I have looked into it online and have found mixed information!!!
I wouldn't go because it could make your baby deaf.
I couldn't say for sure, but I do know that loud sounds startle baby and that my doctor said no concerts because the noise might damage his ears. Id talk to your doctor about it, if he gives you the okay then go for it.
