haaha..I figured it out!!

TA DA>...................... I finally found a LOGICAL explanation for why my period is late (this is for all of you that i've been discussing a late AF with). SURGERY!! YEs...surgery. ON 1/7/09 I had surgery on my feet. They gave me tranquilizers and apparently this can delay a period! Weird, huh? I found it online....not even sure how but i did and there are lots of stories of women having surgeries and their periods being off. SO at least now I am 99% convinced I'm not preggo. The other 1% will come when AF arrives. :)

WOW! That's logical alright! LOL.. Dang, that *****.
Tomorrow is the last day in this month, and I still haven't started AF yet. I had pink yesterday but that hadn't even made it out. I went on a search for that! LOL. And, it wasn't even enough to possibly wear a panty liner. Lastnight, I started spotting brown. It wasn't alot either. Just when I wiped, and still had pink in it. So DH & I BD'd thinking it would cause AF to start, but it didn't. I woke up and the brown was almost gone. If I don't start by tomorrow, I'm going to freak! LOL Skipping a month is nuts!

I swear you're pregnant!! I'm soooooooo hoping for you!! As for me, i really wasn't ready to be pregnant. My best friends wedding is in April and I"m the matron of honor and need to lose about 45 lbs before getting pregnant (or in the bridesmaid dress!) So while I woulda been totally okay with being preggo, I'd much prefer to wait until I SAY it's time...ya know?? I'm just praying for AF b/c I think I may have O'd late (b/c of the surgery) which is why/how I got tons and tons of CM on CD 25. So...b/c I thought I had already O'd dh and I bd'd several times. Of course, he pulls out but still...has me worried b/c of all that slippery stuff. heheheheh

hehehe! Well, pull out seems to be getting everyone pregnant lately. lol. If this is implantation bleeding, then how long should I wait to test again? How far do you think I'd be.. Or would the implantation bleeding change that?(remember last AF dec 25)  I ovulated somewhere between the 6th-11th. Usually yesterday would be the day I'm finished with AF. Idk, i'm just lost now! haha. I have an iphone and it comes with this app for FF. It says I ovulated somewhere between 6th-11th too. So I should have started anyways right? I think I counted right. hehehehee. Omg, I'm full of questions today. And, if you don't know any of them then....Oooppss! hehehehehe.

Hmmm...well, from what I"ve read if you're having IB then you could expect a positive anywhere from 3 to more day afterwards, depending on how fast your HCG builds up. I've also heard it can take a couple of days to fully implant, thereby delaying the discovery of a BFP. We're all having our patience tested!!

On my own behalf however..i'm confused even though I "figured it out." I just remembered that last night at 11:30 pm (i had been asleep since 8 b/c i wake up at 4 am) I was REALLY sick. Like...i never ever wake up sick and I really felt like I was going to throw up hard core. I sleep nude (sorry tmi) and the room was really cold so I didn't want to get up if I didn't have to so I just layed on my side forever it seemed until falling back asleep. Then I woke up this morning and I was fine!! Isn't that weird? I asked dh if dinner made him sick and he said no. So I' dont' know what that was all about. And I've been suddenly STARVING one minute and stuffed the next. For example: I ate a bagel with cream cheese at 8 am yesterday and by 10:30 am my stomach was making horribly loud growling sounds when I was with a patient. SO EMBARRASING!!!

For anyone who's experienced morning sickness--what is that like? Is it nausea in the middle of your stomach or like the flu? Maybe that's a weird question but I'm trying to understand it all.

Anyone else experience these kinds of symptoms??? I know I said I'm 99% convinced i'm not preggo but these are weird symptoms. I'd like to think its psychological but the sickness woke me up out of a dead sleep!!!

the same thing happened to me a few days ago.....i went to bed at 9pm and woke up gagging with the worst cramping at 4am......i went to the bathroom but nothing came out.....so i lay back down and was lying there for an hour and my stomach started rumbling.....so i got up and got a glass of water but when i was heading to bed something caught my eye......a box of honey bunches of oats....so i fixed a big bowl it was so good at 5:30 in the morning and ever since then i have been getting up between 3-6 am just because i wake up feeling hungry along with having to pee really bad...... i would definitely say that i have been peeing every hour on the hour for a bout a week now!!

I've not had morning sickness wake me up..I've woken up in the AM and felt like I was going to be sick. Morning sickness is more like a nausea in the middle of my stomach, like immediately after I would eat something, it would upset my stomach. And for me it was almost like it starts higher up in my stomach than if I were just sick with a virus. Like, it immediately moves from my stomach to my throat, and then I'm sick as a dog. But, every pregnancy is different, so I don't know if morning sickness is like that for everyone.

But yeah, I get hungry insanely quickly. I can eat a meal and be so full I can barely move, and within 1.5-2 hrs, my stomach is telling me it's time to eat again.

ugh, I've been wondering myself, but I cant blame surgery.... I have TONS of creamy CM (TMI srry) and DH is totally fine if I get preggo now, the idiot keeps rubbing my belly....I actually smacked him last time.. However my best friends wedding is March 16th and I'm in her wedding party. I'm about 7lbs below prepreggo weight. so that's good. but still, I'm only about 8 days post ovulation (ok, maybe 7)...... it'd be crazy to have to tell my best friend I'm preggo around her wedding!!!!

Even DH was wondering about all the CM. he doesn't know what it means or is. so I had to explain it all while I was getting more red in the face. my normal temp is 97.0-97.5*F but it's running 98.5+*F

Cervix is still kinda high.. Not extrememly high, but it's up there. lol So, I'll be testing again soon. My dad is just excited and wants me to test everyday! He's insane! lol

Hopefully, you figure out what's wrong with you girly! So is it still 99% or has it maybe dropped to 95%?

thanks girls!! It's great to finally see some responses!! My temp is high too, like 98.5 which is unusual being hypothyroid but makes sense if O happened late. I'm just so confused!!! (placing head in palms)!!! IF I had tons of CM every day or even peed more often I'd be more than convinced i'M preggo but all i have is the stuff i've explained (late Af, weird hunger pains, sick last night, kinda messed up bowels (been kinda constipated lately) and thats about it. My bb's hurt a little but normal for pre-AF. I wanna start the HCG diet asap but I"m afraid to if I"m preggo and don't know it! EEK!!! this is a constant torture test for me! I wanna test every single day and right when I fee like I"ve reached the 100% conclusion I'm not preggo, something will happen to change my mind. LIke reading about a woman who said she was either really cold or hot. I hadn't thought about that but lately at night i've been really really hot! But still...no frequent peeing AND NO bfp!!!

heheh...maybe 95 % now. My cervix is high too. What does that mean?

The cervix being high isn't a good indicator to "predict" pregnancy, but I heard many many many women say that shortly after they get their BFP's their cervix will rise up. Some even, when their AF is due, their cervix is low and hard but then eventually rises up when pregnant. When it's low, usually that means AF is near. The cervix changes positions throughout the day, so if you check it... make it the same time every day in the same position. Or that's what I've heard. It's different for every woman so that's why it's not a good indicator for pregnancy. I plan (if im not preggo now) to start checking my cevix for ovulation. It too will be high then.

hmmm...that's interesting! So, are there times of the month when it is low other than starting AF?

I'm sure it depends on the woman. I've had mine "semi-low" before and it wasn't for AF or anything.

oh. I've heard that the need for a "BM" could cause it to lower but otherwise i'm clueless as well. Time for "google" :)

Yep, and that actually has proven true for me... this is a HUGE tmi alert so brace yourself! hahaha.. Okay well.. Sometimes I think it causes cramps like AF too.

here's the TMI...If you go to check your cervix and you feel like theres a lump on the bottom as your going in, you need to potty. Lol, that's how I know sometimes I need to go. And, when it's right behind my cervix making its way down (lol) it makes me cramp like AF is coming...And feels like my cervix is getting lower. Soon as I potty a few minutes later it goes back where it started lol

That's my very much TMI for the day! lol. Maybe it's just me that can tell when I need to go umm.. #2 lol But, that's a true story! hahaha...

keepurfaith.
hhhahah...you're not alone. I think so many of us do things we think are totally "weird" and when someone eventually discloses, we see it's not so strange.
Here's some info I found from THE BABY CORNER ******* (i found it useful in my current plight)

During the beginning of the cycle, the time of menstrual bleeding, the cervix is normally low and hard and slightly open to allow the blood flow out. It feels like the tip of your nose. I normally don’t check it during menstruation, simply because of the mess. After the bleeding stops the cervix remains low and hard and the "os" - the opening to the uterus - remains closed. This will change the closer to ovulation you approach. The cervix rises up to the top of the vagina and becomes softer and softer. At the height of ovulation the cervix feels more like your lips than your nose and the internal and external os are open, to allow sperm to enter in. Sometimes the cervix seems to disappear - which, of course, it has simply become so soft it blends in with the vagina walls and rises so high that the finger cannot touch it. This is known as SHOW - soft, high, open and wet.

The time frame for this to happen varies from woman to woman. Each woman is unique, and must give herself several cycles to determine when events take place. Sometimes ovulation will start to happen, and the cervix will rise and soften and then ovulation will be delayed for some reason. I have noticed that my own cervix seems to see-saw at different points - but by acquainting yourself with all your fertile signs, you learn how to recognize each one of them.

Once ovulation occurs, the cervix drops to low and firm - once again feeling like the tip of your nose. And the os become tightly closed. (The os in a woman who has given birth vaginally will feel more open at all times because of the stretching that occurred at the birth of her baby.) This can occur immediately after ovulation, or not for several hours or days. Again, each woman is unique, and needs to find these things out over a several-month time frame.

When pregnancy occurs, the cervix will rise up and become soft, yet the os will remain tightly closed. This occurs at different times in different women. Some women may find that twelve days after ovulation their cervix will do this, and is a probable pregnancy sign. Others won’t experience this until well after the pregnancy has been confirmed.

When checking the cervix - use caution - always clean your hands and try not to do this too often - the cervix can sometimes become easily irritated. If you don’t feel comfortable charting this sign, then don’t do it. If you do, give yourself a month or two to acquaint yourself with the different changes the cervix goes through during the cycle. Some women actually use a speculum to observe the cervix.
