I didn't recognize feeling movement until like 21-22 weeks. I think I had been feeling it a week or two before that but thought it was just gas. :)
I didn't feel movement until 18 weeks with my first pregnancy, the really neat thing is when they get the hiccups and you think that it's your heart beating or something.
i'm 16 weeks...for about 3 weeks now I've felt an occasional thump or like some people have described..like a fish swimming in those bags they put em in at the store. I was 16 weeks yesterday and have been feeling more/stronger movements the past few days. Yesterday I was talking with someone and laughed suddenly...I think I scared the baby becuase th emoment I laughed I felt a big thump like it had startled it :) Last night laying in bed I could really feel it moving around. I would feel pressure in different areas...then I would feel something similiar to a rumbling...a couple times I felt that pressure in the backside like I was about to pass gas but nothing came out and I didn't feel the bubble pop or move back up...and at the same time I would feel pressure on the opposite end of my uterus like the baby was stretching out and pushing down towards my rectum and pushing up towards my ribs. Today I've felt several thumps as well.
I felt it at around 16 weeks with my 1st. It was like a fish with a sudden move, it's amazing. You will know.
It could be anywhere from 15-22 weeks for those first flutters!!! That's a wide time frame, but you'll recognize those little movements! They feel like a feather duster or twitching... some women think of bubbles when they first feel movements!!!
with my first i felt him at 15 weeks every so often and then after 17 weeks i felt him a lot more...you're almsot there :)
