Anyone?

Anyone else feel insecure about their body? Ugh I just feel like I look fat and not pregnant, especially since I went to my friends baby shower. She's soo tiny and literally all in front... I couldnt help but compare myself to her. Oh, I'm 19w4d.

I am jealous of women who show because my uterus does not expand so I don't show at all. It bothers me because I have to tell people I am expecting. My hubby and I went someone with our daughter and he was holding her and everyone kept asking him whose baby he was holding he just had to repeat himself over and over that she was his and that I had a baby. So many people know nothing unless we tell them I am 7 months now and not showing I just cry because I would love to show off a prefix belly for once.

Acline, breastfeeding should help, I hear you burn 300 calories a feeding. Maybe once I hit the 3rd trimester I'll feel better!

I felt the same way in my first two trimesters! I couldn't wait to hear the "how far along are you" or the "is it a boy or girl" questions, cause then I knew I finally was startin to look pregnant and not fat. I guess 30 pounds isn't too bad, but still have 8 more weeks. They grow alot in the last couple weeks I hear lol

Yea, I've gained 13 pounds and I'm 20+1 and I feel like It looks more like fat then a bump. But having customers at work ask how far along I am without saying anythin' helps a lil' bit lol.

There has been numerous nights where I've laid in bed and cried because I know ill never look like I did before I got pregnant, not only that.. but im startin to get stretch marks on my "love handles" as well ;( I know its all worth it, but sadens me with my hormones being out of wack!

don't worry, you're not alone! Our bodies don't belong only to us anymore though, just gotta keep reminding ourselves! Baby is behind the wheel in a sense lol. If you haven't been, I would suggest getting yourself into a walking routine, not just for physical well being but I have noticed that I feel a lot less insecure being physically active than I was with my first.

I went to my OBs office yesterday and I swear, surrounding yourself with other pregnant women is just bad for our self esteem lol
