Can i colour my hair while pregnant?

I've dyed my hair about 3 times, and like some of the other women have said, i waited til the second trimester. I was also advised by my midwife to use dyes with no ammonia in. :-)

And yes it is 100% safe I do mine every 4 weeks not ti mention I apply it many times a day and my dr told me its fine.

Yes its safe and as long as your aware that the color can pull differently.. Usually warmer if it does at all.. But iv been doung hair for a while and iv never seen a severe case ( like it turning bright orange) except for the ladies who have done it themselves and then came in to get it fixed.

I am 39 weeks and have colored my hair probably 3 times during my pregnancy,I waited till my second trimester and had my mom help me so I didn't get any on my scalp just make sure do it in an open space! I recommend using a non amonia dye but that's just me! I'm due in 4 days and was thinkin about coloring my hair tomorrow so I look good in pictures with the baby lol

So many people said i couldnt.. My haors naturaly a dark blonde and ive my hair done black.. It hasnt been died since august.. Im sure u girls can imaginw how redicilous it looks. Its doing my head in.. Im thinking of just putting a colour over it.. Like a red or purple? Ive been using tgel to strenghten and take the back out so im more of a reddish broqn now. Im fed up with my hair as its just 2 totaly different tones and i cant wear it down because of how stupid it looks.. Are you girls 100% sure its safe and wont harm the baby im just over 15weeks?

i dyed my hair red and thats what it came out as... and it stayed in as well..

I have heard that dying your hair can cause the color turning Into another color, for example, you might want to dye It red but It'll turn out orange due to your hormones. I haven't dyed my hair since bein' prego 'cuz I don't wanna take any chances lol.

It is ok to dye your hair but u take the chance of the dye not holding bc u r prego, ( I'm a hair dresser) so it ur choice.

It's usually recommended to at least wait until your In your second trimester to start dying your hair and be In a very well ventilated area.

yes. my doctor gave me a list of things you can and can't do, you can dye your hair.
