Induction Scheduled - NO!

I'm due tomorrow  (4th) & just left my appt with a scheduled induction for next week. I don't know how to feel about it. I REALLY want her out now, but have heard so many painful stories about inducing being more painful & longer than going into labor naturally - which all terrifies me. Since they plan to induce, I want it now (5th), but they want to wait until I'm 41weeks. Lost my plug but no other sings of labor at all & I'm still only 2cm.

Anyone have a similar story on going into labor on your own after not being dialated more for 2weeks? I'VE WAITED 40WEEKS, I REALLY DON'T WANT TO WAIT ANY LONGER!

I took 2 doses. 1tbsp with 1 cup oj shake and chug(shaking really helps stiring it is disgusting. I took it at 8pm and 11pm I went to sleep and woke up at 4 am with small contractions I didn't start timing them until 530am went to the hospital at 930 I was 5 cm I had my son at 1123 am all natural

I was induced with my first and second and I don't think they were that bad, especially the second. The first lasted 10 hours including the one hour of pushing but my second was only about 4 hours with only 15 minutes of pushing, so I think the second time around is easier.

Wow, my labor with my first was over 36hrs & it was hell! So if inducing makes it longer & more painful, I'm out! About to go for a walk now so hopefully that works.

I'm 39weeks 4days and haven't lost my plug or dilated at all so trust me I understand due date is Saturday and no sign of labor at all

I also went all natural but u can always get the epidural if its too much pain.

I was induced and it went pretty good for me! The pain is bad since u r forcing the contractions but its all worth it,& my labor only lasted 6hrs. :)

I feel the same way next Monday Ill be 39 weeks, my doctor offered to induce me then but I decided to wait until I'm 40 weeks since I already waited this long,I will be scheduling to be induced in case my first does nit decide to come on her due date Dec. 15 I have heard that labor is longer and more painful being induced but also asked my doctor and he Said the story's are nit true at all, fact is yes labor may take awhile for some and be painful but keep in mind everyone is different

@ericatoday I think I'm finally willing to try it. Didn't want to before because of all the negative stories I heard. How long after taking it did you go in? & how much did you take?
@jessi_mommy mistake is an understatement, I know exactly how you feel. I was to be induced on the 11th as well, but asked for Friday the 12th because I have class on Thursday

Im due tomorrow, 40 weeks! Ive been waiting for this day and im in the same boat as you except im not dialating at all. Doctor said if he doesnt come by the 9th then he will set up for me to be induced on the 11th....im so miserable.

My induction with my first was 100x more painful than this one. But only pasted an hour longer. My induction was 7 hours and this labor was 6. I self induced this time to avoid medical induction because of my bad experience. I took castor oil

Oh & let me not forget to add, my bp was high for the second time. Last week was 160/90, today 150/102. Smh
