head lice!!!

So I work at a daycare && I got head lice from one of the students Im 19 Weeks pregnant does anyone know what I can use to clean my hair????

I had a lice scare during this pregnancy and in a panic called my dr and he said they shampoo is safe while preggo.

I know this sounds gross but use mayonnaise and put a bag over your head for 2 hours and they will be dead

I put awhole bunch of baby oil in my hair and wrapped it up over night and in the morning washed my hair with baby shampoo and they were gone I was surprised it worked that good bcuz my hair is so thick!  I had read it off the net and it really work! Hope it helps:)

Get one of the small combs for lice and comb it all out from the roots, I have long hair and had it years ago, I used the special shampoo for it but I wasn't pregnant then, you can go to any pharmacy and ask for a comb or it they sell them and there should be shampoo there too, read the bottle and ask what's safe

Even if you bomb your house still spray the main places in your home that you come into contact with the most. And throw out your pillows. I had to do all of this last year. And if you have pets dip them with a Permithrin based dip. Lice wont stay on an animal but it uses them like a bus to get to you. Dip them every 2 weeks until the lice is gone. And if possible have someone else dip them, do your hair and spray your house cuz of the fumes. I did all this and got rid of it the first time. My sister and I had lice all the dang time as kids cuz my mom was lazy. For some reason she never got it...only we did so Maine that's why she didn't care

Darn your gonna have to shave your head...j/k First I would call your ob and see what you can use. After you get an ok on something do your hair. Wash everything and spray your mattress, couch, car, everything with a bug spray. Or bomb your home. And don't go back for a few hours. Your probably going to have to have someone pick the eggs out of your hair which could take hours so if you have long hair consider a cut for summer :) good luck...lice is not the end of the world it just s u cs when you get it.
