I've had nothing but bad luck for a month so this was great news for my husband and I.
Well hopefully it'll be encouraging to hear that both mine were perfectly healthy and didn't need any NICU time :) They didn't even have jaundice. Hope your boys are born just as healthy!
That is so great your twins are growing well. I love when twins have a healthy birth weights. Keeps them out of the NICU. Good luck to you! My brother's twins were under two pounds and spent nearly a 6 weeks in NICU. It's hard. Count your blessings!
At 31 weeks I had an ultra sound and they estimated 3 lbs 10 oz
Thanks, I'm glad to hear that. I want them to be big so I hopefully will be able to take them right home after they are born. Plus if I go into labor early I feel like they have a better chance if they are big. On the other hand, I'm not sure how I'm going to be able to get any bigger. Lol
My daughter measured 4 lbs 12 oz at 33 weeks, and we couldn't get a good measurement on her brother because of his positioning. Sounds like yours are right on track! Mine actually measured larger than they really were. Before they were born, my daughter was measuring over 6 lbs, and my son measured smaller. However, when they were born at 37 weeks, he weighed more than her, and both were under 6 lbs. He was 5 lbs 12 oz and she was 5 lbs 9 oz.
I did a u/s while in the hospital 2wks ago at 33wks. The lady said baby was 6.6 pds. I kno twins r on the smaller size. N u/s can b off by 1-3 pds plus or neg. I have another u/s next wk @ 36wks. My dr said baby is chubby but never kno till I deliver. Congrats on ur twins!
