I used palmers cocoa butter my entire pregnancy, even before I started to show and I didn't get any stretch marks. I put it on my belly, lower back and upper thighs twice a day. They say stretch marks are hereditary, my sister and mom got them really bad but they also didn't manage their weight either which is also something I did. Congrats and good luck :-)
I used vitamin e cream and it seemed to help a little but stretch marks are hereditary so if your mom had litrle to no stretch marks you will have the same and vice versa
I've been using palmer's cocoa butter from the beginning of pregnancy. I just rub on a generous amount every night after I shower. I'm 8 months now and I don't have a single stretch mark. Both my mom and half-sister (related through mom) had terrible stretch marks. Hydration and good nutrition are important, too.
I only gained 10 pounds and I am coveted in them :( used both coco butter and bio oil twice a day (rotating one in the am one in the pm) and nothing helped. I'm 7 months out and continued the ritual and it hasn't really helped but they aren't as red any more. They lighten through time :)
