heating pad

Is it okay to use a heating pad on my stomach?

You can get a sock and fill it up with rice and then put it in the microwave for like 30 seconds :) I do this when I have cramps my doctor said its safe :)

Honestly, I wouldn't risk it especially if you're not even having any pain. The piont is to not raise your core temp and putting the heating pad directly on your stomach, which is also youre core, you're just increasing your chances of neural tube defects in your baby.

My OB told me I could use a hearing pad on my back bit I couldn't heat my belly.

My midwife actually suggested a heating pad. Just don't let it get too hot for too long

No It's never safe too have a heating pad on your stomach during pregnancy. If You are having that bad of stomach pain you should get in touch with your dr.
