To xaviarmommy im a home health aid as well and my doctor knew how demanding the job was but she only told me to take it easy and sit when i needed to other than that you should be fine i only stopped because of the back pain and other complications. Goodluck
Im a Cna/Home health aid and im lifting. Plus ftm 22+3my docter knows sometimes this job is overwhelming do u think i can work until i go into labor
My sister had a manual labor job when she was pregnant with my nephew and because she did so much and was constantly lifting heavy things she didnt dilate and had to get a c section i forgot what the drs said it was but just be careful. I had to stop working because i couldnt keep lifting all those heavy clients it was too much on my back.
I would still be careful though, my sister in law was a stocker and she tore her placenta from the uterine wall while she was pregnant with her youngest and started bleeding, had to rush to the e.r. and thats what had happened. Not to freak you out or anything, I would just be careful.
It should be fine as long as its weight your use to I still picked up my four year old at forty pounds until I was 20ish weeks they do suggest lifting less as your pregnancy continues but I would def ask your dr lifting can hurt the baby and cause issues for you if your not careful so def talk to your dr
I stocked before I was prego and during the beginning. I was so scared something might of happend but baby girl is perfectly healthy :) but Im sure you shouldn't regardless even if you did before.
