You'll find that your feet get too swollen and uncomfortable to keep wearing them.   And with the extra weight of baby, will knock you off balance, as your centre of balance is changed when you are pregnant.   I did't find out til I was just shy of 12 weeks and I wore flats soon after that cause my feet were uncomfortable.    Then I only wore them if I was going to cinema or for dinner when I knew I would be sitting down the majority of the time, I only had the walk from the car - destination, anything longer than that I wore flats x

I think it all depends on what you are used to wearing. As you get bigger flats are safer.

The ligaments in your ankles lossen while pregant causing you to roll an ankle or fall easier. I was told not to wear them. They will also cause your feet to swell a lot more when you get further along. But on the other hand if you were them every day all day there shouldn'tbe a problem. I switched to ballet flats around 12 weeks.
