Breast feeding question!

I'm 36 weeks and this is my first pregnancy and I really want to breast feed. My concern is my nipple are sore but there's no sign of leakage or anything, does that mean I won't be able to breast feed?

Breast milk doesn't even come in until after the baby is born. Don't worry about it, stressing won't help. If you really need help with your supply there are some things you can take to help.

The leaking you hear pregnant women talk about is colostrum, and it will also come too. It differs for every woman when they get it. You might not get it until the baby is actually born. Either way though, you won't produce very much, but just enough for their tiny stomachs. Have faith in your body, it's rare for a woman not to be able to breastfeed.

Just be patient. It will come in when your body is ready.
You wouldn't want to rush to start producing because then your baby will miss out on the colostrum which is important and you would have to pump your breast daily in order to keep your milk supply alive because as long as the milk is being taken from your body you will always keep producing it.

I didn't leak at all during my pregnancy. If I squeezed a tiny bit may hav come out in my late weeks. Had my babygirl 2 weeks ago and have been a successful breastfeeding mom since I gave birth. It will eventually come so don't stress.
