Don't know how to explain

I have been having some pain when I sit down or when I cough...I feel really sore when I do like maybe my tailbone is broken or something...I'm not even sure that I'm explaining it correctly as I can't really pinpoint where it is coming from...it does seem to be around the anus area (tmi)...I don't want to worry, but its starting to get to me as I'm not really having any major symptoms and just want everything to be ok with this pregnancy...I see my OB on Monday and he will do a pelvic exam, etc...has anyone felt like this before?

I have a cold right now and thankfully my cough hasnt been that bad but when I cough, i get a pain on the left side of my lower back (at least thats where i think i feel it but its very low close to my tailbone).  Hoping it is normal as well.

Thanks ladies! I really don't know how to explain it, but I said the same thing that Joy said to my hubby and he though I was crazy because I'm on 6wks and didn't think that my uterus has grown enough to cause any problems...I feel better now knowing that I'm not going crazy, lol...

Pressure! Your uterus is sitting on the tract that runs to your anus. I've had that pain before and oh my goodness it is horrible. But totally normal. The joys of pregnancy, right?!

It might be round ligament pain. Does it kind of twinge and then ache when you sneeze or cough? I felt this for the longest time during the first trimester. I lived in fear of sneezing because it would ached and I'd feel almost bruised.
