Yea I only get 2 ultrasounds. So I'd deff have to pay, when do they start checking if your dialated ? I imagine around 37 ?
I always feel something in my ribs , not sure if it's his head or butt lol. I can never tell, but it does feel like he's sideways sometimes. even if they are head down, I've heard they can flip right up til delivery

I'm 37 weeks 5 days with my first and mine still hasn't dropped. My doctor told me they can tell if (s)he is head down with a vaginal exam, but they can only tell if you're dialated. I'm not dialated, so I'm not certain what position mine is in. But I'm pretty sure his butt is right under my right rib, and he's laying kinda sideways.

I have another ultrasound at 35weeks to see the position and measure the fluid. Plus they measure the weight and stuff. You can always opt for one out of pocket if you like. Mine cost me $50 as cash patient.
