Missed Miscarage

I recently found out that my baby died 3 weeks ago I just found out today when I went in for an ultrasound, I have yet to bleed. How long did it take after you found out your baby died to start to bleed? My doctor said if I don't start to bleed with in a week that they can give me a pill that will help it and if that doesn't work then I will have to get a DNC. I have no idea what to except Please help.

They put you under. It is very quick and physically painless.  Don't be afraid of the DNC.

I found out my baby died 2 weeks before I found out.  I was 11 weeks and my ultrasound showed a 7 week fetus with no heartbeat. I actually was spotting for a month and just praying I was gonna be the 50% who's baby makes it.  But I started miscarrying later that night and had a DNC the next morning.  So already you have gone longer than me, I guess everyone is different.  Sorry for your loss but if it makes you feel better I now have 2 kids expecting my 3rd just 4 yrs later.  Everything happens for a reason.  Good luck.

Yes they put you under there is discomfort after.my dr put me on pain meds.  But it helped with the emotional healing.  Stay strong. And lean on any body who is willing to give you emotional support.

I am so sorry for your loss. I had the same thing 2 years ago but I opted to just have the dnc as waiting for a miscarriage was too hard for me.  Best of luck you will be in my thoughts I hope all goes well.
