early labor

Pretty sure it's happening. Lost my plug on Thursday, the day after my doc attempted a sweep at 1cm dilated and 0 effaced. woke up early this morning to pee, about 330am, and when I laid down again I felt a terrible stretching like tear in my upper abdomen. I freaked out, it hurt so bad, I thought my uterus ruptured. I accidentally woke hubby up crying out in pain. I was afraid to move as the pain started to fade, but when I tried to move sides it started again. Still don't know what that was but after that and ever since i've been having some intense contractions. They get as close to 3 minutes apart, but then they space back out to 8 to 10. It ***** and they really hurt but I'm really excited. I've, been having them all day tho and they feel like they're getting worse but not necessarily closer together. I haven't called the hospital or anything. She told me at my last appt to wait til I can't talk or walk thru them and if they're 5 minutes apart, consistently. Idk. Just an update I guess, but any insight or advice would be helpful. I've been drinking water and trying to walk and rest. They hurt so bad sometimes though and I kind of double over. Does this all sound normal? Second pregnancy, but I didn't go into labor like this with my first. I'm.scared.

I've felt that way all day. I'm in "early labor."  I'm 35w2d and 3cm, 50% effaced. I was in l&d twice in the last 24 hours with horrible back labor. The second time I actually was hurting so bad and had a full bladder that I peed on myself. I felt stupid when they said I had just peed on myself, but its better to go an feel stupid and know than to wait too long.

I've been losing my plug like crazy today too, but I'm not concerned about it. If your contractions are five minutes or less apart for an hour or two, you should definitely go get checked. Good luck, mama!!!
