Lmp due date says 02/04/2011. I went for an ultra sound. Sac measures 7.4mm and predicted due date is 02/12/2011. Which date is right. Today I am supposed to be 5wks 3 days but did not have sex 5 weeks back! What's going on? My fiance is starting to doubt my credibility. Help me!!

When a pregnancy is dated it starts from the first day of your last period. The first two weeks of your pregnancy you aren't actually pregnant yet...it's the time between the first day of your period and when you ovulate and fertilize the egg.  
Based on your ultrasound you shoudl be 5 wks 4 days pregnant today.  
Based on your lmp you would be 6 wks 6 days

this means that you would have had to have intercourse approximately 3-4 weeks ago. Remember the first 2 weeks you aren't TECHNICALLY pregnant yet but it is included in the dating calculations.  

I think it would be wise to have your boyfriend accompany you to one of your ob visits and have the doctor explain this to him.  Perhaps the information contained in this link will help him ( and you) to understand a little better.

you would be coming up on 7 weeks this Thursday from the date of your last period but 5 weeks on Thursday from round about when you ovulated.  If you had sex with your partner anytime within the last 5-7 weeks then he is the father of your child

So the conception date would be between the 9th and the 19th if you usually run a 28 day cycle. Do those dates match up?

a doctor takes your dates from the 1st day of your last period, NOT the date you ovulated which would be 2 weeks after the first day of your period.  So if you had sex with your partner between 3 and 4 weeks ago this is when you would have conceived.  If he doesn't trust you he's deffo not worth it

U/s can be off give or take a week. They do tend to be pretty accurat in early pregnany since babies grow at about the same pace. Also you could have ovulated later than usual. As to when you concieved, it would have been somewhere around 2 weeks after your last AF. So if you are 5 weeks pregnant you would have "concieved" around 3 weeks ago although they always add those 2 weeks before you acually got "pregnant". If your fiance is in doubt over a week it sounds like he has some major trust issues.

Ultrasound dating is most accurate in early pregnancy. You could have ovulated at a different time and sperm lives in a female for 3-5 days. If he truly doubts you, wait till the child is born and do paternity testing. You might also want to sit down and talk to him about things if you've not been with other guys. Relationships need trust.
