how long???

I just had my right tube removed (7/18/10) because I had an etopic that ruptured. Its been 7 days now and im still in a alot of pain but Im not getting a steady menstrual flow just continuous spotting is this normal? I also wantto know when is it going to be safe for me to start ttc again?

SOrry to hear that....I also had to go through the same sitatuation in 09...mine was etopic too and ruputed at the time of surgery...so i ended up loosing my right tube...ya you will have bleeding along with pain or spotting for sometime...Just relax and give it some time...my doc told me 6 months after the surgery i can ttc..coz the inside needs to heal properly and you period needs to get regular...my healing process was very slow, so i had to wait for 6 months to heal mentally and physically...so just take good care of yourself now...hope this helps...

Hi hun i really sympathise with you as i had the same thing in 2005.It is very painful and it will gradually ease,but wait until the bleeding stops altogether.I was back at wok in 2 weeks after i had my op.The pain you are feeling is your insides knitting back together after all the prodding and it is perfectly normal.Some people take less time to recover and others longer.There is no time scale to rely on just go by how you feel yourself honey.I think the more you try to do gradually every day helps a lot.but i hope you feel better soon best wishes hun xxx
