Help

I have my glucose test on Friday and I've been stressing all week. What should I eat the day before? What should I avoid? I never had a glucose test done with my daughter, so I don't really know what to eat.

No, I had a doctor in Texas. He didn't even do the anatomy scan. Pretty scary. And I didn't have my daughter like ten years ago, she's barely turning four in November. When I told my doctor I had never gotten the glucose test, he just shook his head and said wow.

Do you have the same dr? If so I'd ask why they didn't test your previous pregnancy.

Toast with peanut butter would probably be good. Not sure my mom remembers having it done so its not something new

What I don't understand is why I never got tested when I was pregnant with my daughter.

You can eat normally, i moved and haven't seen a dr in 2 months. Finally seen a dr yesterday and aswe we're going over my chart she had me to drink the drink and go down for testing after the appointment. I think you can't eat for the 3 hour though

My paper says eat normally, however they suggest that patients avoid items high in sugar or carbohydrate content two hours prior to testing. So maybe toast with peanut butter?

You definitely should eat normal and then that way they know if there is an issue or not, i ate ridiculous amounts of sugar with my son, that's alll i craved, and i passed with no issues

Well whoever told you no chewing gum day before doesn't know what they are talking about. I was chewing gum up to the point I had the drink that drink. You just can't eat or drink or chew gum for an hour. And eat normally. I passed it and Iate normally.

I just had mine. I ate everything I normally eat. I cut back on sugar a little but not much at all. It wasn't awful. Its the hour long wait that gets you
