So I just recently started buying clothes for my lil man and have about 2 newborn, 11 0-3 months and a few gowns and socks im just curious how many of each size should I buy

Im expecting a little girl any day now. Shes our first. U can google a list of thing to get a newborn from wot i can remember it said 6 sleep suits. We bought stuff every so often from early on in the pregnancy and found the clothes were so cute we couldnt not get them! Lol! You can get some real bargins on baby stuff keep a eye out for sales! But really the amount of clothes u will need all depends on ur situation if you have a tumble dryer u may need less clothes but even at that in the first few weeks the babys here u may not have the energy to do the washin! Lol! I felt swamped by the amount of things a baby needs and how expensive they are! We made a list of things to get and set a minimum amount of clothes to get for example a weeks worth and judging 3 outfits per day! People always buy baby stuff after its born u could ask for vouchers or money so u can get clothes in the size u need!

I didnt buy any new clothes! Except maybe a couple things I liked. Otherwise I got all my clothes from garage sales, and donated from friends.

I heard you shouldn't buy new clothes cause they end up getting ruined, and/or half the stuff you buy doesnt even get worn so you waste so much money on it! Unless you have the money to spend.. then by all means! lol

Well you have to remember that they might be to small or to big to go into certain sizes, and they pee/puke/poop on everything so its nice to have extras. But also think about how much you do laundry so you can just rewash things..

I bought mostly 0-3 months I have atlease 25 outfits and 10 newborn my baby shower is this Saturday I requested 3-6 & 6-9 month clothing and diapers sizes 1&2 since the hospital supplies you with newborn diapers

I didn't have any new born clothes, and my son weighed 7.7 and I ended up going out and got a few pants and shirts for him and he was in newborn till he was 7 weeks old. And then 3 month till he was just about 4 months old. He has been in 6 month clothes since for over a month. He's 5 months now

Right now they are saying my son will be between 5-6 lbs at birth he is small right now

I didnt buy any newborn I bought a few 0-3 months things but I mostly bought 3-6 months only because when I had my first he grew out of the smaller sizes fast and he was only 6lb 12oz when he was born and they are expecting my son this time to be bigger. Another reason I didnt buy much smaller things is I plan to not actually start going out until he is like 3 months so I know alot of the clothes might be too small by then so I just bought the all over footed sleepers in 0-3 months sizes since we will be mostly indoors.

Have you had a baby shower yet? I'm waitin till after mine to buy clothes...except for the few outfits we had to get right after we found out what were havin. I got a ton at my first shower, second one is this Saturday. People always buy clothes. Haha
