Birth

So I know Im nowhere close to giving birth but I want to start thinking about this now so Im prepared.

I cant stand needles. In fact, I am terrified of them. Always have been. (Yet I can get a tattoo just fine.) Ive fought doctors and my parents when it came to shots or blood being drawn. Even now, I struggle and my body goes into fight or flight.

But I also have a low pain tolerance. I thought about a c section but i heard that puts the kid and i at risk as well as hurt more. But natural birth hurts a lot too.

So I guess what im asking is what should I do? Needles scare me, c section is dangerous, and natural birth hurts more then I can imagine.

That makes sende but it goes into your spine... And stays there. I could hardly handle IVs a few weeks ago when I went to the hospital>.<

to be quite honest, i'm scared of needles as well. i almost went into preterm labor at 30 weeks and ended up having to get two shots in my butt, and it was the worst thing i've ever experienced; but i felt like i was willing to do it over again for my son's well being. and in terms of the epidural, contractions hurt way more than a shot. so i figure when i hit the point of labor, i wouldn't mind the shot being done to ease the pain. haha.
