Holy hannah.  I couldn't resist and took it tonight... I know I know I am impatient!  There is definately a faint line!  I am scared to get excited though.  I know I had a level of 8 on Wednesday and a negative urine PT on Wednesday too!?  Would a HPT register an 8 or could my level be higher?!

The ratings on HPT's is the minimum guaranteed detection level. Because tests do fluctuate they give you this number. It is possible for a test to pick up a level that low. I know that the dollar store brand has picked up as low as 7 even though it is rated at 25 like FRER. In any given batch of tests you will get some that will pick it up low and others not until the 25 mark is reached.

It is possible that your numbers have gone up which they should double every 48 hours and you got a sensitive test. either way. Congratulations!

It is hard to take pictures, especially at night. If you can find a dark countertop or piece of paper, put it on that. Use a room that is well lit. Then choose the "flower" icon on your digital camera. You might have to take the picture somewhat far away and then crop it later on the computer.

sounds like your preggo!! I got my BFP off a digital at 12dpo with a level of around 27. Try taking a digital test! :)  (clear blue is what I took)

I cannot get the camera to focus in on it right!  I am going to take the other one on Sunday and hopefully (fingers crossed) it will be darker and I will totally post that pic! :)

LOL i can try.  He just got home and he looked at it and walked away. LOL  I gave him a look and he's like, what???  I said, look again.  And he looked and he is like, oh...another line.  Didn't we have one of those before?? (evap line)  I said yes, but this was before the 3 minutes!  Men... they irritate me. lol

No, I don't. 8 is just way toooooo low to be picked up on a urine test. Sounds like your HCG is going up! The reason it is faint is probably because the levels are still low.

Can you take a pic and post it for us? I want to see if I can see the line, too!

Thanks Joy :)  Honest opinion though,  do you think it could be picking up the 8??  i just keep telling myself,  why didn't the test in the doctor's office pick it up??

When you're pregnant the levels are supposed to double every 48-72 hours. Because it has been 2 days your levels could be around 16 or more. First Response has been known to test HCG as low as 12 when studied in a lab.

By golly you may just be pregnant! Wait another couple days before using the other test to see if you get a darker line!

peeonastick.com says a FRER newer version measures at 25.  But it's a faint line.  I am just scared it's the 8 showing up!  (thank you for that site, how helpful!!)

Depends on what you used. Go to peeonastick.com it has a list of several hpt's and what they register at.
