Bleeding during pregnancy

So I am roughly 9 weeks along n have been bleeding red on and off the whole time sometimes heavy sometimes just little pink spots. My doctor said for younger women this can be normal in the first 3 months but she didn't really do anything to make sure everything was fine except an ultrasound, I am 21, and am really just trying to make sure my dr isn't crazy..

For the first 3 months with my first I had not bleeding but spotting at around the times that I would have normally gotten my period. I've heard many women that have had that before too. Sometimes women just bleed. But yes, if it's accompanied by pain or lots of bleeding and clots. I would go in right away.

The doctor did an ultrasound to check baby that's all they can do... if your slight bleeding gets really heavy and is accompanied by bad cramps contact you're doctor and/or go to the hospital. I had slight cramping up until I was 11 Weeks. Just hang in there and try to trust your doctor. If you really don't trust your doctor you can always change to One you are more comfortable with and trust. You have a long journey ahead of you with your doctor and the last thing you want is to feel uneasy about your doctor.
