thanks you guys ill just wait til monday for them to give me a shot n then figure out where to get them
I take the shot weekly but my shots are shipped to me and with my last I got them in the hospital weekly
He will give you another script, just remind him when you only have a couple refills left. We give the shots weekly starting at 16-20 weeks until 37 weeks
MY Dr does have some in office n I do remember him saying he would tell me where to which pharmacy to use but think he got busy n forgot n I didn't know that not one pharmacy around would have it. Thanks for info :) he only gave me a script for ten for some reason
I had to order from special pharmacy and have it shipped to me ( 3 month supply at once) your doctor should know that pharmacy info, my doctor does not have the shots in office
I do!! I take then every week :) supposed to help prevent preterm labor. I get a shot in the butt. Lol
i am high risk and have had a previous mid term loss at 21 and a half weeks, i also have a cerclage for incompatent cervix, however, my high risk dr told my regular ob that i could benefit from the shot once a week to prevent pre-term labor. i originally take progesterone pills up until 14 weeks then i stop taking them, so just as a precaution i was put on the weekly shot to help prevent mid term loss or preterm labor, it supposedly helps thicken the uterus lining and etc.
thanks i'll try calling the local hospital pharmacy i didn't think of that one. thanks.
Why do you have to get that shot? just curious!
i have im on the phone with the last one that i know in my area ive called the big ones and the small ones, so frustrating, i even saw one place online saying it wasn't available at any retail pharmacy .... what does this mean? im about to give up and wait til i see my dr monday and tell him NO ONE CAN GET THESE SHOTS ORDERED.
Your doctor can tell you Monday where you can get the prescription filled. Call every pharmacy you can find in your area and ask them, someone has to have it or at least be willing to order it for you. Our office gets the scripts filled through the hospital pharmacy for our patients.
I have no idea I would goggle all the pharmist within like 20 miles and call one by one.
