Gender reveal ideas?

We learn this month. :) I don't want anything big or party related. EVERYONE will know we're going to find out that day and will of course demand to know immediately lmao So we won't be able to keep it secret for a party, but want it to be more than just a phone call.

We were thinking maybe like getting pink or blue cupcakes at Walmart on the way home and swinging by their houses (my dad and sister, grandparents) and presenting them with a cupcake for the reveal.

Something simple. Any ideas?

I got on pinterest and looked up "we're having a girl" and "we're having a boy, found one of each I liked, and saved one of each on my phone. After the ultrasound I'm going to snap a pic of the profile shot they give me and send it out with whatever gender I'm having. Kind of boring but I just don't want to make too big of a deal about the gender because I'm just excited for whatever we have regardless.

My husband and I did a 3D ultrasound to find out the sex and everyone was there with us. My mother, father, sister and brother in laws were there and my mom, Aunt, sister and Niece were there and it was so amazing for us to get the 3D and to find out we are having a boy with all of the important people there to share it with. :) we were going to do a gender reveal party but decided against it.

I want to kind of make a sign with my 1 yr old holding it doing a gender reveal. All my family lives far away so we can't visit to tell them. I also thought about either having a pink shirt or a blue shirt with blocks on my tummy saying girl or boy.

I think the cupcake idea is wonderful. I told my family they couldnt know until I saw them and I bought a package of pink balloons, and a thing of strawberry frosted cookies for when I went to each house.

A friend of mine did a gender reveal that I thought was super cute. She bought 2 pairs of baby shoes,  one a pair of sneakers,  and a pair of ballerina shoes. She took pictures of her holding both pairs next to her belly, then just the sneakers on top of her belly. She was having a boy! She sent the pictures out to everyone, then put it on facebook.
