Ultrasound don't have a negative effect on the baby. They're created by sound waves. You should've at least had 1 ultrasound by now. Ive had several & I'm 20 weeks. I did have to change doctors because I wasn't getting the proper care in the beginning.

I would think about changing drs maybe. I got one at 7 weeks to confirm my due date then i got one at 12 weeks to check siize of baby then one at 20 weeks for the anatomy then i just got another at 32 weeks to check on baby and his positioning

I didn't get my first ultrasound until 25 weeks. They don't like to do them too often because they don't know the effects of too many on a baby. They will wait till the baby is a little bigger. I know it ***** being impatient, but everything is fine :) also if your doctors office is understaffed or has a lot of patients, that could be a reason too. I only got two ultrasounds during my pregnancy. One at 25 weeks and one at 40 weeks.

You should just set up an appointment with an ob/gyn. Look one up in your area, call and go. You need to get an ultrasound to confirm your due date. I don't think you should worry just yet, but make sure you're taking care of yourself and talking prenatal vitamins. You don't need a prescription.

They will probably do a ultrasound at your next appointment. About the fax though,  I had the same thing and don't have a fax machine. I went to the library and they faxed it for me for free.
