idk just curious

So I'm at my Dr appointment and I see a pregnant girl breastfeeding a baby about 8 -10 months and I'm in shock! lol How is she gonna be able to breastfeed both babies when her second is born? Should she even be breastfeeding? shouldn't she stop breastfeeding now so that her 1st gets used to the fact shes gonna have another baby to breastfeed?

Its possible to feed 2 babies its called tandem nursing. The body is an amazi thing when it comes to stuff like that because it accommodates both children's (I dont know all the details though) needs. You can also breastfeed while pregnant (some doctors dont recommend it but you can) I did up to 10 weeks and stopped because I didnt want to tandem nurse.

No you can actually tandem breastfeed no problem. A womans body is an amazing thing and will actually produce what each baby needs! :)
