23+2 with discomfort

Hello,
I'm 23+2 wks pregnant with baby no4. In the past few days I've been getting regular baxton hicks and a lot of discomfort down below. It feels tender and bruised. And i also feel as if the baby is coming out. I can feel every movement she makes...but mega strong down below.
I've not had this in previous pregnancys, is this normal?

I'm absolutely cacking myself tonight. Thank god for forums! I'm just not sure tbh. But peace of mind is what matters.

If you think at all you might be, get checked out, you can never be too safe. The worst, you'll go in be checked and if anything's wrong, they'll fix you up, and if not, you have peace of mind!

I've not got any sharp or burning sensations. Just a very heavy, bruised feeling. Especially when I'm walking about.
Without being too discriptive...when walking or on my feet all day, it almost feels as if baby is about to pop out. I can't literally feel her moving below. The tops of my legs feel somewhat heavy too.
I have been told that as its my 4th pregnancy braxton hicks may be stronger and earlier.

It does sound like a UTI, I was getting sharp stabbing pains in my cervix and that was it, and I'm being treated for a UTI right now. Braxton hicks are normal from 15+ weeks, especially after each pregnancy you'll get them earlier.

Thankyou so much. I have a flu jab tomorrow, so I will ask the nurse what she thinks. My pregnancy has been fantastic up until now. It's really knocked me for six as the discomfort mainly  occurs when I'm stood up.
Thankyou again for your advice...its given me a sence of relief. X

You might want to make sure you dont have an infection or uti down there. I was feeling a lot of pressure down there and im 23 weeks too. I wasnt having any symptoms of a uti but i did have some symptoms of a yeast infection. I went to the doctor and they put me on a monitor to see if i was contracting and i was not. But they did an exam and made me pee in a cup turns out i had a uti and a bacterial infection. My doctor told me thats most likely what was causing the discomfort and some pregnant women wont even have symptoms of the uti or bacterial infection. But i dont think that braxton hicks are normal this early on my doctor is always telling me to come see her if pains start happening down there. But i was cramping too and it ended up being the uti and bacterial infection. So i would go to your doctor just to be on the safe side.
