is it worth another test?
ok just took HPT and at the start we saw one dark line and one very very very faint line which would have made me preg. We left it and looked after 3 minutes and was a BFN.. My question is. Is it worth takin another test or is it likely to change in the mornin ; test i used was first response early one just to be sure and advice welcome :-( xx
just took a second test wit FMU and got BFN no line appeared this time tho only the neg one so i guess its doctor time for to see wat the hell is goin on.. Astra- I had the same thing happen with First Response. I think they've got a faulty batch of tests out at the moment. I would contact them and let them know that is happening. I plan to do the same.
but it only stayed pos for like the first few seconds and the other line stayed def for the whole 3 minutes.. Its so confusin and i had some spottin today too is that a def neg sign as i had some last thursday too xx thanks girls xx
If the line is still faint with FMU then you're probs not that far gone!!

Because in early pregnancy, waiting to take it during the day dilutes your urine (from drinking things all day long) and the HCG doesn't get a chance to properly build up so that it shows on a test. That's why most tests (or any I've taken) say to test with first morning urine because the HCG is at it's highest concentration.
She means.... In the morning your urine is stronger and NOT diluted.. whereas during the day it is, which means the test wonnt be as strong, BUT a positive result is a positive result no matter how strong or faint it is! But take another test with your FIRST WEE OF THE DAY!! WITHOUT having a drink
