Im thinking about getting this after my son is born. So any or you ladies have it? Do you like it? Did it hurt getting put in?

I had it for three years and Ioved it had ZERO problems or side effects. I did bleed from November when I got it to about March but it wasn't absolutely heavy max losing too much blood bleeding. then it stopped and I'd get like one day of light spotting every five months or so. anyway it's the best birth control I've had yet very effective and no side effects.

My friend had the iud n it somehow slipped away n she got prego. .. I was on the mini pill but it caused me bloatedness. .. It ddn bother me then bur once i got off it i noticed that i had gained weight. .. So after this baby im planning on using gynol cream. .. I know its a hassle but my other friend uses only that n it never failed her yet. ... N its x somwthing internal so it duzn mess wt ur body. ....

Oh wow. .thats a long time to bleed. . . Sounds like a lot of people have problems with it :( :( but I got pregnant on the pill and dont wanna get on the pill again. . .and my friend has an IUD and shes had nothing but problems with it. . .so now idk what to do :/

Ive had thw implanon as well previously...had it for 2 yrs and had to get it taken out It caused me to get ovarian cysts...2mo after I got it taken out I got pregnant with another healthy bby boy whos now 21/2 ...but I got my period on a monthky basis no worse or less was the same

I had implanon. My left arm was the first and after a month it was rubbing against something so they switched it to my right. I bled for 8-9 months straight heavy bleeding and the doctor was forced to remove it because i was loosing way too much blood to the point where my body was bruising and shutting down. I've heard they've discontinued implanon and have switched brands or something. Maybe check into it. But i would personally never go with implanon again.

I had it put in 3 weeks after my son. I got my first period 4 weeks pp and ive been bleeding since then and my son Will be 8 weeks old tomorrow. Im absolutely miserable with I feel sick all the time. Thinking about getting it taken out bcuz almost 8 weeks of bleeding is a lot I hate it.

I had the implanon, its implanted in your arm, it stays in for 3 years.. they numb your arm so u dont feel them putting it in, it is sore for a couple days afterwards.. but i had no problems with it, and after a couple months id only get my period every other month
