increased fetal movement

On my discharge directions from the hospital last time, it says to call if you have increased or decresed fetal movement.  Today Caoilainn has been flailing around almost and pushing off my ribs and I am just worried and not sure what to do.  She is not normally this active.  Has anyone dealt with this before?

I just left it off and she calmed down.  I remember beign on monitor and them talking about how active she was running away from them lol.  May just be the way she was turned I could just feel her every movement

I was always told the more movement the better. Not really sure why increased movement would be a bad thing. My son was always very active and the doctor told me he wished all babies were like that. Also caffeinated drinks will cause more movement. If your papers say to call then better safe then sorry, make the call.
