Freshlove - intercourse is not comfortable at all anymore (my poor husband)..but the exercise ball is a great idea! And I will look into the evening primrose..thank you ladies!
You are the mum, it is your right to stand your ground and insist on not being induced until after 41 weeks. My second bub was 12 days late & I had gestational diabetes, most dr's would have induced but that's not what I wanted & I was measuring fine, was being monitored & bubs was fine so there was no reason to.
I have been trying to keep active but after 5 minutes of walking my hips feel like they are gonna break in a million pieces..
-Parkersmommy that's wonderful to hear!
I want it to come naturally I don't wanna be induced but if it doesn't happen my doctor will induce me.
You still have a week and a half to go...that's plenty of time for things to progress!!! I suggest sex every night (if you are comfortable with it), walking every day to get baby low and put pressure on cervix, bouncing/swaying on an exercise ball, and evening primrose oil if you have some. Also, don't stress. Being stressed naturally slows things down so try to relax...take a nice bath/shower before bed, meditate, etc. Best of Luck!!!
I would just leave nature to run it's course, baby will be out some time over the next 3ish weeks anyway & things do tend to go more smoothly when they happen on their own.
I got induced with my first and delivered vaginally
inductions do lead to a higher chance of medical intervential such as c-sections, , you can place evening primrose caps next to your vagina at night, this can help soften your cervix, also keeping active and when your due or even now you can go and have the pressure points done in your feet to help as well
