I was induced at 40+1 and nothing hurt but the contractions. But boy did they hurt. I didn't even feel the epidural needle because of how bad the contractions were. Don't be afraid though, everyone is different and I went in with absolutely no dilation and about 50% effaced. That's why I had so much pain
I was induced with my second and it didn't hurt till the contractions started
