glucose testing

I am headed to my doc appt for my glucose test am i suppose to be fasting? Like no food or drink? I cant remember from the last time if i had to or not and I'd love a drink lol

I can't remember if she asked me to fast or not i just figured if it was a normal thing then i should probly just wait (which im going to to be safe) yea the last time i had orange and it was horrible so im def gonna try someth k b g else. Ive heard the sprite one isnt as bad.

It's just the one hour test and my appt is in 30 min lol im just really thirsty is all.

If your doc..order you to fast then no food or drink. An nothing to drink while your taking the test either. It ***** did mine a couple weeks ago. If you like sprite soda ask fir the lemon lime flavor. It taste like over sugared sprite Lol.

If its the 1 hour test you can eat a light breakfast like an hour or more before the drink....if it's the 3 hour test you can't eat or drink anything
