Also, gargling with warm salt water or Apple cider vinegar water will disinfect your throat.... My mom always made us do that when we got sore throats growing up.
Hot water or tea (rooibos tea would be best for both you and baby) and lemon juice with honey. You should be able to taste the lemon well, but without it being too overpowering. And the honey is not only good for soothing your throat, it also makes it sweet and yummy.
Having this same problem, except I know something it's legitimately wrong. I'm unable to swallow water let alone solid foods. I've been using cough drops to no avail and have swelling on only my right side. I had tonsilitis very early in my pregnancy and feel as if the same thing is happening again. I'm concerned strictly over my inability to even take in liquid like soup and may very well go to a dr to get it checked out since Florida can't make up it's mind. One day it's hot the next it's freezin and I know thats not good on anybody
Ok thanks! What about dosage? Is there a certain amount i should take?
U can also take robitussin dm that will help more than tylenol but remember dm not robitussin pe

I'll be sure to check them, thanks for the advice! I havent taken anything, I'll take Tylenol for now until i go get some cough drops.
a little bit yes. and before you buy check the back of them. some of them you can't take. but i know you can take the ludens cough drops when you're pregnant they are safe. some ladies on here said sudafed is fine to take also while pregnant. did you take some tylenol?
Did the cough drops help?
i am 8 weeks and 5 days and i recently got a sore throat. the doctor told me she couldn't give me anything so i have been using ludens cough drops. if it gets worse you might have to go to the doctor and get checked because it could turn into strep throat.
