I'm 18 and currently under my parents insurance. How should I go about getting the baby insurance? Any recommemissions??
My son is on medicaid it would b easier for u too also apply for it now as a pregnancy related then once baby is born medicaid will automatically put baby on there other wise it takes longer.
When I was pregnant with my son, I was under my mothers insurance, I switched off from that to medicaid, if you put yourself on medicaid, and qualify, your infant will qualify as well, I didn't have to wait til he was born, I just got a card that said unborn, then my last name, to use until he was born then they added his name!
You can either talk with your parents about putting baby on theirs or try and get your baby on state insurance.
